2 Year
Warranty for Desktop Computers
Genesis Computer Repair and Sales provides a Two Year Warranty
on all new pre-build and custom-build desktop computer systems.
As of January 28,1999 all complete desktop systems integrated by
Genesis Computer Repair and Sales are warranted for a period of
two year from the invoice purchase date. The system warranty
covers components and labor for the two year. The system warranty
does not cover software incompatibilities or acquired viruses.
For desktop computers, a fifty-dollar ($50.00) deductible per
defective component will be applied to all claims on products
without manufactures warranties that extend beyond the two year.
Genesis Computer Repair and Sales does not give refunds. However
we would gladly exchange a product for another of even or better
value. Some of the products sold by Genesis Computer Repair and
Sales carry longer warranties offered by the manufacturer.
Customers should deal directly with the manufacturer for a
defective product outside of the one-year of the warranty. All
warranty repair service for original customers is provided by
Genesis Computer Repair and Sales technical support staff at the
Genesis Computer Repair and Sales facility. Genesis Computer
Repair and Sales will also provide support by telephone (757)
833-6262 or e-mail (Sales@BuyGenesisComputers.com)
to original customers for minor difficulties and malfunctions of
the computer system. When a defect is reported that cannot be
resolved via e-mail and/or telephone, our technical support
facility is readily available to conduct the proper repairs. If a
product was ordered incorrectly, does not work, or is not what
you wanted - we will gladly help you exchange it. All exchanges
must be pre-approved. You can accomplish this by calling us at
(757) 833-6262. Any package received without pre-approval will be
refused. Shipping and handling charges are non-refundable. The
customer is responsible for all shipping charges to the warranty
location. A copy of the packing slip must accompany all
exchanges. Exchange items must be in the original condition with
all manuals, disks, manufacturers packaging, etc. Do not write on
the manufactures original packaging or warranty may be
voided.
NOTE: Before you ship the product(s) to Genesis Computer
Repair and Sales, back up the data on the hard-disk drive(s) and
any other storage device(s) in the product(s). Remove any
removable media, such as diskettes, CDs, or PC Cards. If you have
any questions, call Genesis Computer Repair and Sales for
technical assistance.
This warranty does not cover any loss of business, profits, or
other consequential damage, real or perceived, that may have
resulted from any malfunction of the computer system. Nor does it
cover any other unapproved software, hardware, programs installed
by the user. Only damage or malfunction due to ordinary wear and
tear, which will be determined by Genesis Computer Repair and
Sales to be reasonable, will be covered under this warranty.
Damage from flood, lightning strikes, earthquake, any other acts
of God, mishandling, dropping, or infestation is not covered by
this warranty. All warranties may be deemed void if Genesis
Computer Repair and Sales determines that the computer system has
been damaged due to insufficient packaging during any exchange
shipment back to Genesis Computer Repair and Sales. Genesis
Computer Repair and Sales cannot reload any software not
originally loaded by Genesis Computer Repair and Sales.
Furthermore, this warranty is void if unauthorized parts,
repairs, and/or alterations are made to the computer system.
Genesis Computer Repair and Sales reserves the right to determine
whether alterations have been made, or damages caused, by such
facts that would serve to void the terms of this warranty.
Components:
Genesis Computer Repair and Sales Warranties all new component
purchases against manufacturer's defects for a period of one (1)
year and reconditioned components for 30-days. Products must be
returned in original packaging and have all the original
markings, labels, serial numbers and manufactures tags intact or
warrantee may be voided.
Software:
Genesis Computer Repair and Sales offers a 7-day exchange on
all unopened software products sold. Exchanges will not be
offered on opened software.
